How would i go about getting a texas id card when My license is suspended?

I recently discovered my drivers license has been suspened because off a no insurance surcharge. I need to know find out if it is possible to still get a texas ID card, and how to obtain it.

yes you cann you would have to the DMV office with a few ids like SS card a utility bill and proof of who you are

    an ID card can still be given even when a DL is suspended. just don’t drive and expect to get away with producing the ID when pulled over. all it is for is to prove your identity.

    just go to the DMV. but remember, this card is NOT a drivers license card… you cant drive with an ID card..
