God is despite what we do. Like prayer, church/fellowship is for our own benefit. Sure, God wants us to pray, go to church, ect… but it is not to do him any favors. Understand what I’m saying? Plus, the simple “act” of going to church means nothing in the way of what only God sees in your heart. Meaning, the devil himself(like any person) can go to church but that doesn’t make him righteous in God’s eyes because he sees beyond acts.
