Where can I find an appropriate place for fine dining in Houston before a Symphony Concert?
I will be in Downtown Houston this following weekend attending Mozart’s Requiem Symphony at Jones Hall Theatre. But before that, my date and I would like to dine out, somewhere appropriate for the evening. Typically fine dining. Any suggestions?
"17" is a nice place to go downtown It has good reviews and this comes directly from the Restuarant:
The genesis of our award-winning *17 restaurant in downtown houston was a vision of a destination restaurant that serves new American cuisine with clean bold flavors. opened January 17th 2004 and featuring ultimate in houston fine dining, *17 has been recognized with the "Best New Restaurant" award in Esquire Magazine and Texas Monthly’s "Best Restaurant in texas" award in 2005. the restaurant has been a favorite of Houstonians since. recently My Table awarded *17 with "best interior design."
You will not be disappointed if you choose this place to eat before the Symphony.

Artista, Monarch, and 17 are three fine options for dining before the Symphony. Enjoy!
