What mechanic shop you suggest in houston for transmission problem?

I have Honda Accord 1998. When I accelerate initially it goes a little back and forth (jerks) . I need to show it to a mechanic. It looks like a transmission problem since it has some delay in picking up the speed. Which mechanic shop you suggest in Houston, TX for this kind of problem?

I have used these guys a lot. the secretary is hot, they are busy all day, the morning is the best time to go. Don’t go in the afternoon or they will ask if you can leave the vehicle there for the next day.

    Carl’s transmission Baytown. I have not used them , but I listen to the saturday radio car repair shows. I would drive 100 miles to use him.

    I have used this shop many times for a variety of problems. It is a family-owned company. They are polite and honest, and if they can’t do the job they will recommend someone they trust who can.

    Have you tried the local AAMCO? Shop around and make sure get an estimate before you leave the car with them so they don’t take your car apart and then ask you to pay. If they say they need you to leave the car so that they can "check it out", leave and don’t come back.
