What are a few schools that teach the dental hygienist profession in and around houston, tx?

I want to become a dental Hygienist, but I am having trouble finding any schools in the houston area that teach the courses. The only one I have found is The University of Texas Downtown. Are there any others?

    There are not many dental hygiene programs. Usually takes years to get into one.
    Go to yahoo search engine and type
    ada.org list of dental hygiene programs by state

    Or go directly to http://www.ada.org and look on their site for a list of hygiene programs by state.

    I love dental hygiene and graduated in 2008 and I will let you know now that jobs are scarce. I would advise before applying to school, to check and see how the job market is where you intend to practice. Good luck!!
