can i rent a car in houston texas and turn it in in new york?

We are planning a trip to new york in march. We are leaving from Houston texas. Can I rent a car in houston and turn it in in New York? We plan on catching a plan back.

You can, but it will cost a lot more than returning it in Houston.

    it’s cheaper to fly there too than driving unless u want to visit other cities on the way.
    thousands of miles is a lot of gas money.

    Sure, but it’ll cost you far more than the airplane flight. Driving 1700 miles? Don’t do it. Fly there, rent a car (not at the airport) and fly back.
